We want you to know that your safety is our top priority. As a medical practice, we are used to following universal precautions for patient and staff safety. Please read below to learn more about our practices.
Exam rooms and points of patient contact are cleaned between each visit. We use slit-lamp barriers (breath shields) on our microscopes and upon request staff will wear face masks during your visit. As a locally owned practice, we are sensitive to the needs of our community.
Patients who are early for their visit may be asked to wait in their car and will be called by phone when it is time for your appointment. We ask that you minimize additional family and friends who join you for your visit unless their assistance is needed during your visit.
You may be asked screening questions during your visit. If you have an elevated temperature or appear unwell you may be asked to reschedule your appointment unless your eye problem is medically urgent or emergent. If your problem is urgent then we will take additional safety precautions as necessary to take care of you and to protect your vision.
We offer screening telehealth visits for high-risk patients and patients with non-urgent issues. Rest assured, if you have an urgent eye problem, we will take care of you. We will wear the necessary personal protective equipment to ensure that you receive the best medical care possible.
